Overview
Delivered in partnership with Northern Regional College (NRC), the Bar Academy delivers fully funded City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Professional Bartending (Cocktails) qualification over four weeks. Upon completion, graduates will be guaranteed employment at one of three top local hotels: Galgorm, Tullyglass House Hotel, or the Adair Arms Hotel. The course is delivered through a combination of onsite and remote training, incorporating basic bartending to the art of mixology, sales techniques and finance training to personal development.
What the Apprenticeship includes:
- Guaranteed continued employment following successful completion of the course in one of our Hotel partners (Galgorm, Adair Arms, Tullyglass House Hotel).
- Nationally recognised fully funded qualification (City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Professional Bartending - Cocktails)
- Attractive hourly rate £11 (above NLW)
- Ongoing support and development
Learning Format: Learning takes place either on Microsoft Teams or on-site in one of the partner hotels in the Ballymena area so there is no need to attend college
Hourly Rate: We pay £11 per hour both for time spent learning in the classroom and onsite
Duration: 4 weeks
